The leaves aren’t falling, palm trees continue their sway—it’s about to be autumn in San Diego. Time to hit the books and enjoy a fresh read?
Join the San Diego Poetry Annual (SDPA) at Verbatim Books, on Saturday, Sept 21 at 7:30 pm. We will be celebrating four fantastic new books published in 2024 by local powerhouse poets. The evening will include readings by Daniela Sow (poet, professor at Grossmont College), Michael Klam (poet, SDPA Executive Director), Jane Muschenetz (poet, SDPA Director of Partnerships), and Amelia Rodriguez (poet and Associate Editor at San Diego Magazine).
Following the reading, we’ll have a Q&A with the writers, who are at various stages of their poetic careers. Fall in love with poetry again at Poetry Harvest, hosted by Verbatim Books.
